Propelled by four powerful and highly efficient petrol and diesel engines, this business luxury limousine is priced at INR 37,70,000 for the 2.0 TDI, INR 39,90,000 for the 2.8 FSI, INR 46,95,000 for the 3.0 TDI q and INR 47,00,000 for the 3.0 TFSI q (ex-showroom Delhi) and will be available at Audi dealerships from August 2011.

Way back in 2006, Audi redesigned the rules of motorsport and became the world's first automobile manufacturer to compete with a diesel engine thus writing an important chapter in the history of motor racing with a momentous triumph in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the world’s toughest endurance race.The new Audi A6 embodies lightweight through its hybrid aluminum body and efficiency through its best in class consumption.The Audi A6 2.0 TDI, for example, tips the scales at a mere 1,575 kilograms and consumes 4.9 liters/100 km* (as per EU cycle).

With these features in common with the Audi R18 TDI – winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Race 2011 - the new Audi A6 offers today’s successful business leader, a powerful, yet sporty and luxurious business limousine.Measuring 4.92 meters in length, with a 2.91-meter wheelbase, the new Audi A6 is 1.87 meters wide and 1.46 meters high – the sportiest proportions in the executive class.
Petrol engines are the 3.0 TFSI V6 produces 220 kW (300 hp) and has a displacement of 2,995 cc while the 2.8 FSI V6 produces 150 kW (204 hp) with a displacement of 2,773 cc.
Diesel engines are the 3.0 TDI V6 generates 180 kW (245 hp) and has a displacement of 2,967cc, while the 2.0 TDI In-line 4 cylinder generates 130 kW (177 hp) with a displacement of 1,968 cc.
Audi delivered more than 652,950 cars to customers worldwide, an increase of 17.7 percent over the same period in 2010.
Audi is the No.1 premium car brand in Europe and China and is currently the fastest growing luxury car brand in USA and India.
Audi India surpassed its annual sales of 3003 cars for 2010 in the first seven months of 2011 and recorded an impressive 93 percent growth from Jan – July 2011 with a sale of 3,145 cars (1,626 cars: Jan – July 2010). In July 2011, the company sold 343 cars – a growth of 52 percent over the same period last year (226 cars: July 2010)
